TIMES OF CHANGE

Author: cjvickers
Shedding light on a situation.
A shadow sculpture to express the shifting attitudes towards the way we look at money during the recession.
With people having to be conscious with the amount they are spending and efforts being made to look after what money people do have, it seemed more fitting than ever to use small bronze change to construct this piece.
Constructed of 15,000 bronze coins and created in little over 11 hours, this work speaks volumes for the overwhelming sense of change that looms over us as a nation.
Good video.
The older generation know things are not right and are concerned for the worlds future.
The youth are getting angry over the worlds future.
We are in times of change. This clip tells me sort it sooner rather than later.
not bad but more emphasis on 50 pound notes then pennies lol
Every penny counts! Many of us labour for hours often carrying out mundane tasks. Make your efforts count and you will reap the rewards but don’t forget to save a little along the way. The scenery may change as does the light of the day but be happy in your chosen path. Those who are pepared to go that extra mile have the best chance of success. Good Luck!
Well done Chris.
Great way to get a point over. Too many rich people in this world not doing enough about poverty, the elderly who fought wars for us, endangered species and the planet.
Stop talking and start acting, NOW!
Moving. This ilustrates the feeling of the youth today. We need change now not later.
What an excellent video! At a time when every penny is of paramount importance to us all, this video speaks volumes. As our ever-changing financial situation continues to loom, i believe we are all being a little more apprehensive about those impulse buys, a far cry from only a short time ago when money had far less value. The times of change indeed.
A very well designed complex video stating one very simple fact. This piece highlights the contemporary problems the youth are faced with in today’s financial climate.
We need change.
Great piece of work Chris.
