Sometimes you may want to save a factsheet to your desktop or print it out and read it when you feel you need it most. Of course, TheSite.org's factsheets are ever so printer-friendly, but we're not too proud to send you to some that are just as good.
Bristol Crisis Service for Women (BCSW)
Read up on issues around self-injury with these booklets and leaflets, as well as the 'Rainbow Journal', a spiral-bound book you can store your thoughts and feelings in. It's free to girls under 18.

This factsheet is aimed at teachers as a classroom tool, but is also very useful if you want to find out more about self-harm and where to go for help and advice.

Read up on issues relating to self-harm with a range of factsheets you can download, whether it's for you, a friend or family member.
Mind
This booklet is aimed at young people, friends and family, who are worried about self-harm. You may also want to get the lowdown on the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines with this handy leaflet, without having to read through the 200-page document itself.
Rethink
This factsheet provides a useful introduction to self-harm, treatment, and the relationship between self-harm and mental health issues.
Royal College of Psychiatrists
Read this leaflet for more information on self-harm, what it is, and where to go for more help. There's also lots of practical advice in the leaflet, Damage Limitation.
