Heavy session

Question

I am wondering if there is a technical term for using excessive amounts of drugs in one session. In other words, is there a drug equivalent of the term 'binge drinking'?

Answer

The term 'binge' is also used to describe excessive drug use in one session. It may be useful for you to do some further research into the stages of drug use to get an idea of where bingeing fits into the bigger picture of an individual's drug use.

The most immediate danger with excessive drug use in one session is the risk of overdose. The consequences can be fatal. If you use drugs yourself, or know people who do, it's worth knowing some drugs first aid in case of emergency.
