About Pete

Pete worked as a teacher until 1997, during which time he was also a lay official with the National Union of Teachers. As county secretary of the Norfolk branch of the union he was involved in negotiating with the county council on a wide rangeof professional and HR issues.

After leaving teaching he started volunteering with the Citizens Advice Bureau in Wymondham, Norfolk and started a website for young people and gave advice across the county via email. This work led to working as an advisor with askTheSite. As well as askTheSite, Pete also answers questions for Netmums.
