Jasmeet, 21

Jasmeet, 21 It's definitely got harder to find a job. Summer vacation schemes and training contracts are very limited. They were already limited before, but now they're even deferring courses so you have to apply two or three years in advance.

Andrew, 21

Andrew, 21 I've been looking for jobs for the past few months in supermarkets and shops and found it very difficult to find anything.

Alketa, 20

Alketa, 20 Companies are cutting down on graduate schemes, so it's really hard to get experience and without experience you're unlikely to get a job.

Amy, 22

Amy, 22 I don't think the recession will last much longer. It's a cycle: you have a recession and then you have a boom. In a couple of years time it'll be much better and there'll be more opportunities for everyone.

Rali, 24

Rali, 24 I've tried to forget about the recession. I think young people should study what they enjoy and worry about getting a job when they need one. Perhaps pick a sandwich course. I did a degree and I worked at the same time and I think it really appeals to employers.
