Choose Action Alliance
The Choose Action Alliance is an alliance of five charities who worked together to promote volunteering and activism among young people.
Content in our volunteering and activism sections was first developed as part of a Virtual Volunteering project run by the alliance of four UK-based youth volunteer organisations, collectively known as the Choose Action Alliance. These are: Changemakers, Worldwide Volunteering, Youth Action Network and YouthNet (the charity behind TheSite.org). The Student Volunteering Team at Volunteering England were also involved in the project, which was funded by v - the youth volunteering charity. Volunteering England have now become a fully fledged member of the Alliance, working with the other Choose Action members on promoting volunteering and activism.
Choose Action harnesses the synergy of these five dynamic youth organisations to develop the infrastructure of the youth sector and young people-involving organisations, and to influence policy makers so that young people are at the heart of all they do.
