Andrea Scherzer

Andrea is a UKCP registered Psychotherapist, trainer and media advisor with 10 years specialist expertise in helping young people and adults who struggle with eating disorders, self-harm and other self-destructive problems.

In addition to her private psychotherapy practice, Andrea has worked extensively in the NHS, the private health sector and the State education system. She lectures at Regent's College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London and was an agony aunt at Bliss magazine between 1997-2007.

Andrea also provides input to television and radio programmes and production companies and is one of the authors of Violent Adolescents: Understanding the Destructive Impulse (Karnac: 2005).
