Andrea Scherzer

Andrea is a New Yorker who's lived in the UK for 17 years. She's worked extensively in mental health with children, young people, and adults as a social worker and as a psychodynamic psychotherapist.

She has specialised in working with young people in schools and has worked with people with eating disorders for the last 10 years.

Andrea has been an agony aunt at the teenage magazine Bliss since 1997 and has written several articles about the causes and treatment of eating disorders and other self-harming behaviours in adolescents and adults.
