Love the web? Want to be part of an exciting online project? Our new website called Lifetracks is all about helping young people make decisions about their work, training and study options. We want our site to inspire and inform young people as well as supporting them through some of the biggest decisions they'll ever make.We're looking for people aged 13-25 to help us make the new website the best work,learning and skills resource on the web. It's a great opportunity to learn more about how websites are developed over time and to make sure that the site meets the needs of the people who will use it.You will be invited to take part in an exclusive online community to discuss and debate ideas that will directly shape the content and functionality of the website. Work is already underway and we need your support through testing, creating content and providing ongoing feedback on its' progress.This is a virtual volunteering role but there will be opportunities to take part in offline meetings and groups as the project progresses.

The aim of the Community Corporate Ambassador is to promote awareness of the work of Save the Children and the issues that we are engaged with, and to raise funds for our work, within the local corporate community.The time commitment is approximately 2 days a week, home based, and could include evening and weekend commitments.Raising awareness of our work with corporates could be at any level, from promoting local events to initiating sponsorship relationships. This can be achieved at business breakfast/lunch meetings, at business seminars within your local community, al local chamber meetings, or meetings with individual companies, resulting in people wanting to get involved in volunteering or fundraising for Save the Children at a later date.Responsibilities:Recruit and engage local business to support Save the Children.Promote local events to the corporates within the local community.Take responsibility for a corporate income budge for the area.Record and monitor the activities of business contacts.Create links with the local shops (if applicable) and volunteer supporter groups within your community.Ensure any new information and materials that you receive from Save the Children, are distributed throughout your corporate network.Be involved to share your experiences at quarterly team meetings.

As a Media Coordinator for the London, Southeast and East, you will play a vital role in helping build their profile through the regional media. Your time commitment will vary depending on the number of fundraising branches/shops in your area and how active they are, but on average it will be around 2/3hrs a week.

WORLDwrite makes short films that impact on the world, but many don't realise that filmmaking is 90% administration work. Working with new and existing volunteers on projects that challenge the status quo, the opportunity exists for volunteers to take on all aspects of this important role, or to take on smaller tasks such as filing, dealing with new enquiries, answering letters, updating databases, meeting report deadlines, record keeping, minute taking and spotting mistakes.
