    I have a police caution from when I was 16 and I'm afraid to say that it stays on your record indefinitely. However, it only shows up on enhanced checks and most employers aren't bothered by it in the slightest. In some cases I think it even showed strength of character and varied life experience (don't count on this though!). Just stress that you are a different person now and mot employers will laugh it off.
