Helping yourself

My parents are both teachers, and to be honest I had always intended to avoid becoming one myself. However, after graduation, as my career prospects thinned and I realised I needed a 'direction', I decided to bite the bullet and apply for a place on a Post Graduate Certificate of Education course at Brighton University.
