What is video RSS?
RSS, or "Really Simple Syndication" enables you to easily discover when websites have updated their content. Find out everything you need to know here.
Instead of having to visit sites each day or week, wondering whether there's something new, you can set your reader to do the task for you. It will automatically tell you when new material has been added to the site.
How is it used on TheSite.org?
We provide an RSS feed for videos, articles and audio files on TheSite.org. By subscribing to them, you can keep track of new videos, discussion board topics, factsheets, features, audio downloads and podcasts as they're added.
How do I get started?
To 'subscribe' to our articles, you need to have an RSS Reader. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. Browser-based news readers let you catch up with your RSS feed subscriptions from any computer. Downloadable applications let you store them on your main computer, in the same way that you either download your email using Outlook, or keep it on a web-based service like Hotmail. Popular readers that allow you to subscribe to video feeds include Netvibes, bloglines and Pageflakes.
